Dear Birthmother,

My name is Stacey and I am so looking forward to starting my family through adoption. While undergoing fertility treatments, I was told that I would not be able to have children. Although initially devastated by the news I knew I could not give up on my dream to be a mom. A close friend of mine adopted her son through Lifetime a few years ago. Being there for her amazing experience, I knew this was the course God meant for me to take as well. I am more than happy to remain in contact with you so that you can watch your child grow.

About Me:

One of my greatest passions is traveling, exploring new places, learning new cultures and meeting people. I have been to almost all of the continents and have learned so much. China, Russia, Scotland, Ireland, and Egypt are a few of the places I have been. I can't wait to share these experiences with my child.

I have many hobbies and activities that I enjoy. I really like running and snow skiing. I just learned how to stand up paddle board and am looking forward to this summer when I can do that a lot more. I also love sailing and find being out on the water very peaceful and relaxing. I enjoy visiting museums, attending Broadway musicals and going to the movies. I will also never pass up an opportunity to sit down with a good book. The fall is my favorite time of year because of the weather and Dallas Cowboys football.

I have been in the banking industry for the past 18 years and have moved my way up to Vice President. One of the benefits from my employer is a paid three month maternity leave when adopting a child. I have job security and financial stability which is very comforting and allows me to pursue my dreams.

Finishing college is one of my goals and I am one year away from receiving my Bachelor's degree in finance. I am attending an on-line university which allows me much flexibility.

My Family:

I have an amazing support system around me. My parents are both looking forward to being grandparents again. My brother is a father to my three beautiful nieces and they are excited to welcome a new member to our family. I am also lucky enough to still have both my grandmothers in my life in addition to many aunts, uncles and cousins. The really neat part about my family is that we all live close and get to see each other very often. Our holidays are the best!! Christmas Eve consists of a big Italian dinner that my dad spends all day preparing, midnight mass at the Catholic church and then a fun filled Christmas morning with lots of laughter and lots of love and lots of presents!

In addition to my family I am blessed with amazing friends. They are all so excited and supportive of my decision to adopt.

My Home:

I live in California in a darling home. It has three bedrooms, nice big family room and a great backyard perfect for BBQ’s and playing. The beach is only a five minute walk away. There are always people walking their dogs or riding their bikes and in the summer there is always some type of street fair or activity going on.

My Faith:

I was raised Catholic and attend a local church. I really enjoy the structure and messages I receive in a Catholic Mass. I feel I have a very strong faith and trust that God has a plan for us all. I believe in the power of prayer and know that mine will be answered.

My Promise:

I will love your child unconditionally and will provide a safe, secure home filled with love, laughter, faith and encouragement to pursue dreams. I would definitely be open to ongoing contact which could include letters, photos and possibly sharing visits.
